Background
Fond of the Translation and Interpretation profession, I have dedicated my young and adult life to developing my language and intercultural skills. I've learned languages from an early age, including English, Italian, French and German, which I continue to develop.
I graduated from the 5-year-curriculum translation program of the National University of Cordoba (Argentina), and a Graduate Diploma in General Interpreting and a Master's of Conference Interpreting from Yok University (Canada). I have dedicated my entire professional life to specializing in my fields of expertise though specialization and postgraduate courses, seminars on Spanish rule and Spanish correction and editing.
As an Interpreter, I have two decades of conference interpreting experience under my belt, including acting as consultant interpreter. I have worked with various well-known companies, international organizations, state agencies, consulates and international bodies, in conferences, lectures, courses, diplomatic meetings, business meetings, market researches, etc. With the development of technology, I have been an early adopter of remote simultaneous interpreting: my experience in RSI dates back to 2015, with many happy clients. I am a KUDO Pro interpreter and an Interprefy-approved interpreter, as well as proficient in the use of VoiceBoxer, ZipDX, Ebizont, Webswitcher, and Zoom.
Through my work experience in almost all positions in the translation industry (as a translator, editor, proofreader, PM, language lead/terminologist), I have gathered a wide linguistic experience and organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as technical expertise in the use of CAT and DTP tools, including MemoQ, Trados, SDLX, Passolo, Logoport, Alchemy Catalyst, Transit, Wordfast, Memsource, Corel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, InDesign. I have worked as a translator/editor/proofreader in my fields of expertise, both for end-clients and translation agencies based in the United States, United Kingdom, Bolivia, Italy, Spain, and Argentina.
